How does water purifier functions
and how R.O. membrane works?

RO membrane functionality

As drawn in the picture, The R.O. membrane doesn't allow any particles smaller than 0,0001 micron to pass through it so only pure water gets on the other side of the membrane. All contaminants, bacteria, germs, viruses, dissolved solids and all unwanted substances that can be found in water are flushed to drain, thus leaving only pure, crystal clean, tasty and fresh water that is within your reach whenever you wish.

Crobal Water Filtration explanation graph

In first three stages water is prepared for R.O. membrane by 3 PreFilters:

1. PolyPropylene 5 micron*

2. Granular Activated Carbon**

3. PolyPropylene 1micron***

Secondly, on fourth stage, water is purified by R.O. membrane and devided into 2 parts:

1. Purified water (which goes into the tank)

2. Waste water (which is flushed to drain)

Finally, fifth stage.

Water goes through ActiveCarbon PostFilter which makes sure your water is fresh and tasty.

* Polypropylene 5 micron PreFilter collects particles bigger than 5 micron

** GAC PreFilter reduces up to 95% the amount Chlorium which is very dangerous for R.O. membrane.

*** PolyPropylene 1micron PreFilter holds all particles bigger than 1micron

The Size of the R.O. membrane pore is 0.0001 microns, to visualize this easier here is the comparison:
